MGs are the world’s powerhouses. They have the sustainable life-force energy of the Generator + the initiating power of the Manifestor. MGs feel pressure to move very quickly because of all the energy they house. This is why it’s crucial for you to slow down before you respond. Like Generators, you need to become very intentional about where your energy goes as you run the risk of becoming very busy doing nothing.
Manifestor-
Unlike the other energy types, Manifestors don’t have sustainable energy! They have the initiating power of a lightning bolt. Your energy works in erratic & powerful bursts. When you’re initiating, you have all the energy in the Universe available to you. Manifestors can truly move mountains when they’re “on.” However, because your energy is not sustainable, you will come down & need your sacred alone time to recharge. In some cases rebel against the current circumstances you’re in. In pursuit of this growth, you will seek knowledge, knowledge in differing forms that will reveal themselves to you throughout this year. Is it through friend groups, joining clubs or social groups, through literal learning (books, school, and internet)? Solar Return Sun in 12H: This is a year where a lot might happen, but you will be in your head quite a bit, an inner calling/dream brewing up & attracting most of your attention. Every year on your birthday your sun returns to the same location as your natal birth chart. On that day, the sky will tell you about your upcoming year. Reading a natal solar return chart is challenging because many sources disagree upon the meaning. A good rule of thumb is to always refer back to the sign and condition of the house and ruling planet of your natal chart. What is their condition? How does their energy function for you?
In previous posts I have written a lot about the ascendant of the solar return. This post assumes you have done that work and focuses on the location of the solar return sun.
Sun in the Solar Return
1st House: Encourages individual action and indicates personal success. Will highlight the house of your natal sun.
2nd House: Earnings come more easily and you are more clear about your earning potential. Ambitions will run high but you may become jaded and pessimistic about your own worth if afflicted.
3rd House: Interactions with your colleagues, neighborhood, or siblings increase. Writing, speaking, and socializing fill your year. Success in study is indicated by positive aspects.
4th House: The sun here often indicates changes in the home or interest in real estate – especially if Uranus or Pluto is involved. You may find yourself delving into your past, your roots, your heritage, or ancestry. New furniture and decor is often purchased and represents an inner desire to tidy up your inner psyche.
5th House: The sun’s rulership in your natal chart will tell you how a 5th house sun will express. If it rules the 1st, 3rd, or 9th there is a focus on expansion of self and personal expression. If it rules your natal 7th or 11th, then relationships will rule the year. If you have children or are trying to have children they may be the focus of the year in some way.
6th House: Personal health is brought into focus. If service is called for, it is important to give it freely. You may need to rest, diet, or exercise as a way to relieve stress to both mind and body. Sometimes an increase in work and productivity are associated with this placement. You can become more regimented and detail-oriented.
7th House: Often the sun in the 7th will tell you more about your partner than yourself. Your relationship may transform in some way if you are partnered. If not, you may find yourself partnering up in work or life. If the sun is close to the descendant, you may find yourself in conflict with another. The house that your sun rules will tell you more about the nature of your relationships for the year.
8th House: Sometimes the sun in the 8th indicates dealings with mortality, but more often it indicates the end of a life situation. Because the 8th house is indicative of others’ power over our finances, investments, inheritances, and karmic dues, these can also be an indicator of an 8th house year. You may find yourself owing others, or others owing you in some way. Ultimately this is a house of release and renewal.
9th House: A year of growing and learning. Sometimes spiritual, sometimes through travel, and sometimes through advanced schooling, your ambition is high in a 9th house year. This is a year of stepping outside of your comfort zone.
10th House: Prominence is brought to career and public life. Your reputation will spread and you will find yourself in a position to receive accolades, promotion, and achievements. Afflictions can indicate challenges and the sun’s rulership of your natal chart can speak more to the areas of life you will be given opportunities to excel.
11th House: A year when plans and goals are realized. Increased activity with groups, institutions and the introduction of new friends. Organized activities are often highlighted with this placement and you may become more active in causes you believe in. Plans for the future are made and you are determined to set the course to manifest them.
12th House: Can sometimes indicate a year that includes health issues or underlying disease, but in general points to a year of uncovering 12th house issues (spirituality, unconscious, karma, and closing out of cycles).
If you have no planets in the 12th house and are unsure of the house cusp, calculate the sign before your own ascending sign. For example, if you have Leo rising you have Cancer on the 12th house cusp. If you have Capricorn rising, you have Sagittarius on the 12th house cusp
Sun in the 12th house/Leo on the 12th house cusp: The remnants of social importance from previous lifetimes activate through the spirit, there is a constant pressure to feel understood and gain acceptance, there is a spiritual purpose that in this lifetime is not recognised as they once were. In the past life the individual could have been a social representative, sovereignty, leader, artist, or public figure
Moon in the 12th house/Cancer on the 12th house cusp: The family dynamics and karma from ancestors is passed through to the individual such as past traumas, addictions, spiritual abuse. The individual made a lot of sacrifices, and the natural maternity can be astounding, they give form to the term ‘natural mother’, or ‘natural father’. Mercury in the 12th house/Gemini or Virgo on the 12th house cusp:Thoughts from previous lifetimes make entrance so the individual can feel as though their mindset is trapped in another time. They can experience strange visuals or flashes with no origin. The individual may be a brilliant automatic writer or channeller because the memories of past life studies are so fresh.
